Born and grew in Ethiopia, completed a Bachelor of Theology at Mekane Yesus Seminary and obtained a Master of Divinity from the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology. Currently pursuing a PhD at UNISA. I have served in the Church Synod office for four years, where I held the positions of head of the Gospel and Mission department and coordinator of the Synod Youth Ministry in Ethiopia. Additionally, I worked as the National Bible Translation and Church Literacy Program Manager
for five years. My experience also includes roles as a Translator, Transcriber, Teacher, Trainer, and Librarian. Since January 2021, a missionary with the Mission of Lutheran Churches (MLC). As of October 2023, Registrar at the Lutheran Theological Seminary, and since February 2022, I have been serving as a part-time pastor at DELC.
