Expanding Horizons
FELSISA's Mission Work in Africa
Since early days mission work was carried out in neighbouring Swaziland and Botswana, where the LCSA (Lutheran Church South Africa) has congregations. The LCSA preaches the Gospel amongst Indians in South Africa as well.
Recently a new field opened up in quite a number of African countries. The focus of the work rests on the teaching of young men to become ordained pastors to be able to administer Word and Sacraments and oversee their congregations faithfully.
Together with MLC and other mission societies from our sister churches (ILC) the FELSISA supports this mission by sending teachers and where necessary to help with other needs.
