Youth Organisation of the FELSISA

The Youth Organisation sees it as their duty to explain and apply the Word of God among the youth of the synod and further encouraging the participation of the youth in the work and life of the church.

Three different retreats are hosted annually for all youths from the age of 16. The Youth Camp (Rüstwoche) takes place during the same time as the children’s and teenage camp at the end of the year. In-depth Bible study sessions, time for devotions, choir practices, different workshops and sports and games all form part of the week’s activities. The Adult Youth Retreat usually takes place during the first half of the year and is aimed at all youth older than 18 years. It comprises of intensive Bible study sessions and time for interaction with fellow Lutherans. The last retreat takes place during the winter and is thus called the Winter Youth Retreat.
