Church Services in Ballito

Church Services in Ballito

After much thought and prayer, the Our Saviour Congregation (Wartburg) has decided to commence with regular English church services in Ballito.

Our Saviour is itself a mission congregation, it seems natural to engage in this kind of mission work!
Ballito is growing rapidly, and the mission opportunities are plenty. And since many FELSISA members from the Kirchdorf, Durban-Westville and Our Saviour congregations already reside in the area, this group is serving as a “starting point” and “home base” for the mission work.

The first service took place on the 28th of January, with an amazing 35 people in attendance! Currently, the services are taking place in the home of Ralph and Cornelia Schroeder, but from March onwards, the congregation will meet in the holiday home of the Meyer family (12 Ashley Road). We are continuing the search for a suitable venue. Please keep this endeavour in your prayers!

Pastor Roland Johannes will hold the service every second Sunday of the month at 11:15, with pastors emeritus Siegfried Köhne and Chris Johannes alternating in holding services every fourth Sunday of the month at 09:00. A hearty invitation to you all!
